Ten days of performances across comedy, cabaret and circus, celebrating the local art scene. All hosted in the well-travelled intimate pop-up performance venue, The Parlour, located in Grattan Gardens.

What we did

Working closely with The City of Stonnington, we programmed an all-star line-up of world-class entertainment for this debut festival in 2021 as part of Melbourne Fringe. We were thrilled to be invited back for the 2022 So Soiree festival.

So Soiree is for the roaming revellers, creatures of the night, art darlings and social butterflies.

A magical wonderland, part of Melbourne Fringe Festival. The So Soiree Fringe Garden, proudly developed and produced by City of Stonnington, delivers a curated program by Bamboozled Productions within an immersive fringe garden and in our bespoke parlour tent.

The 10 day festival showcases renowned artists pushing the boundaries of comedy, circus, cabaret and burlesque. Star-studded with impressive acts and outstanding shows, you will be crying with laughter, blushing with delight and euphoric from an excellent night out.

I'm thrilled that Stonnington will be hosting the So Soiree Festival, it gives the community an opportunity to come together and celebrate comedy, cabaret and circus. We will be showcasing some of Melbourne's best performers and we can't wait to have them at our festival. There will be something for everyone, we are really looking forward to welcoming back and kickstarting the Art's industry's return to our community.

Drawing on his Wangkangurru Adnyamathanha, Cook Island and Maori heritage, Dre creates interactive DJ sets under his MC moniker MoZzi. His show MoZzi x Inkatja sold at the 2021 Adelaide Fringeand he has been a frequent contributor to the Art Gallery of South Australia’s Neo program as well as the annual Wilpena Pound New Year’s event. He was featured on Triple J as part of the 2021 NAIDOC Mix UP line-up.
