Festivals make us better people.(We’ve known this for years!)

June 13, 2025

The message is clear: festivals make us better people (and we’ve known this for years!). The question isn't whether we should invest in Australia's arts and festival sector – it's how quickly we can make it happen.

We’ve been reading this article - proving what we've always known: festivals change lives (and we need your support!).

A groundbreaking Yale University study has revealed something extraordinary: 63% of festival-goers experience a 'transformative journey' that leaves them more connected to humanity and significantly more willing to help strangers – for at least six months after the event.

Dr. Daniel Yudkin noted: "Experiences at secular mass gatherings have the potential to expand the boundaries of moral concern beyond one's own group."

More Than Entertainment - We're Building Community

We've witnessed this transformation firsthand. Our award-winning festivals don't just surprise audiences - they create lasting bonds that strengthen communities across Australia.

Australia's Festival Future Depends on Investment. When we invest in festivals and arts, we're not just funding entertainment. We're:

  • Building stronger, more empathetic communities

  • Supporting hundreds of local artists and creative professionals

  • Attracting tourism and economic activity

  • Creating spaces where Australians connect across cultural divides

Every dollar invested creates ripple effects that extend far beyond the event itself. We're not just delivering a festival or an event, we’re building the social fabric that makes Australia a more connected and vibrant place to live.

Whether you're a potential partner, sponsor, or simply someone who believes in the power of shared creative experiences, we'd love to discuss how we can work together to expand Australia's festival landscape.
