A Touring Comedy Festival across the Mount Barker Region

A Good Laugh Comedy Festival (May 1–16)

A Good Laugh is hitting the road this May, popping up across the Mount Barker region with a rolling lineup of sharp, playful and downright funny performers.

From local halls to much-loved venues, the festival brings a mix of seasoned pros and fresh voices together for nights of big laughs in small places. Each show is different, each town brings its own flavour, and no two nights are quite the same.

Kicking off on 1 May, the festival travels through Nairne, Macclesfield, Echunga, Meadows, Totness and beyond, before wrapping up with a lively final gala at Mount Barker Town Hall.

At its heart, A Good Laugh is about bringing people together, activating regional spaces, and creating shared moments of laughter - because life’s a bit bonkers and we all need a good laugh!

So grab your mates, pick your town (or follow the trail), and settle in for a night of cracking comedy, good company and a proper laugh.

The Big Giggle – Sunday 3 May

At the centre of the festival sits The Big Giggle, a dedicated, joy-filled event for little ones and their grown-ups.

Held on Sunday 3 May, this special daytime event invites families into a playful world of silliness, physical comedy and delight. Designed especially for younger audiences, The Big Giggle brings together performers who know exactly how to meet kids where they’re at - full of energy, imagination and just the right amount of chaos.

It’s a chance for children to experience live performance in a way that feels accessible and magical, while parents and carers get to share in the laughter.

Expect giggles and shared laughter that linger well beyond the day.
