So Soirée - Melbourne
So Soiree - Melbourne, Victoria 2021 – 2024 So Soiree, presented by the City of Stonnington, is an annual series of intimate live performances as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, and a great showcase of what Bamboozled can bring to the table - both as programmers and as venue providers.
In 2021 and 2022, we designed and delivered an eclectic 8-day entertainment programme for So Soiree, featuring everything from comedy and cabaret to burlesque and circus, all performed inside our enchanting velvet-lined Parlour. Debuting in 2021, the event was part of Stonnington's strategy to re-energise Chapel Street in Prahran and welcome live performance back to the community after lockdowns.
In 2023 and 2024, So Soiree continued with our Ukiyo venue hosting the festival - a larger pop-up space that comes complete with its own VBA (Victorian Building Authority) permit, ready to deploy with all compliance sorted from day one.
Together, these four seasons highlight the flexibility of working with Bamboozled: whether a client needs a fully-programmed entertainment experience, a turnkey venue with the permits already sorted, or both together, we have the venues and the production expertise to deliver.

I’m thrilled that Stonnington will be hosting the So Soiree Festival, it gives the community an opportunity to come together and celebrate comedy, cabaret and circus. We will be showcasing some of Melbourne’s best performers and we can’t wait to have them at our festival. There will be something for everyone, we are really looking forward to welcoming back and kickstarting the Art’s industry’s return to our community.
