Stirling Fringe

Bamboozled Productions’ boutique festival in the stunning Adelaide Hills features a hand-picked program of national & international acts, plenty of family fun and delicious fare by local producers. In 2022 the festival returned under a new banner – Fringe in the Hills from 15 – 24 April across Stirling and Lobethal. The festival was sponsored by Adelaide Hills Council, FABRIK, Arts South Australia, Sintelix, Son of Dot, Lobethal Bierhaus, Stirling Community Shop, Prancing Pony Brewery, Stirling Market & The Stirling Hotel. Thrilled to have so many award-winning performances as part of our curated programme, audiences were delighted with the high calibre of theatre, comedy and music delivered right to their doorstep!

Bamboozled Productions co-directors and locals to the Adelaide Hills, Louise and Sasha Zahra embarked on producing their own fully independent Fringe Hub in the heart of the Adelaide Hills with a ‘Pocket-Sized’ Fringe explosion in Stirling.

This was a fully delivered venture from raising original interest and sponsorship with Adelaide Hills Council and Stirling Business Association (SBA), to developing the site and production requirements. Furthermore, Bamboozled Productions curated the program of performances including in-venue shows, a free outdoor music stage and roving entertainment, as well as overseeing the bar that served only the finest of Adelaide Hills food and wine.

Now in its fifth year running, the Bamboozled Productions team and program has expanded this project continually, making sure we bring the good people of Stirling the very best of Fringe, without the frenzy of the city!

Testimony

The AHC has nothing but praise for the event, which successfully took on board our desire to see our region celebrated as a stand-out feature of the festival hub. We are proud of our association with Stirling Fringe and hope it grows to establish itself as an annual event on the Adelaide Hills arts and cultural calendar.Ebony Priest, Communication & Events Officer, Adelaide Hills CouncilWe would like to acknowledge the considerable time, financial commitment and experience required by you and your team to see the vision through to reality. It was clear to all concerned that Stirling Fringe was professionally managed and marketed, and the SBA committee would like to acknowledge the effort taken to ensure our Members’ needs were considered at all stages during the event’s planning and its subsequent delivery.
